Now, the million dollar question. How? How exactly do you clear the plate of the ciaos. Same goes for any resolution such as losing weight or getting healthier. How? Exactly what does that mean? Does losing weight mean a few pounds, or is it about losing enough weight to bring you away from the edge of health issues? Does getting healthy mean eating better, exercising more, reducing stress, or all the above?
It's more than just making a resolution, it's about defining that resolution. And then it's about understanding, knowing and putting in a little thought about how you are going to get there. The key to success is breaking down the resolution into as small of steps as you possible can and then approaching one step at a time. Success doesn't happen overnight, it comes with taking the small steps one at a time until you reach your goal.
Simply Simplify - that's my goal for 2013. The first step is to identify the things that are overwhelming stressful or out of control. Once identified it's a matter of making a plan for gaining control or cutting them out all together. Of course this is always easier said than done, and I may not be able to cut out the things that make this list all together, but I can figure out ways to gain some control so they don't feel so out of control and thus in of itself reduce the weight of stress.
